Heat and Rubber Don't Mix Well Over Time
Bushings, mounts, and various suspension components rely on rubber to absorb vibration and allow controlled movement. Rubber naturally dries out and becomes more brittle with age, and heat combined with UV exposure accelerates that process. A summer of sitting in direct sun, combined with heat radiating off pavement, adds up across the years in a way that's easy to overlook since it doesn't happen all at once.
Tire Pressure Changes With Temperature
Air expands as it heats up, which means tire pressure actually rises somewhat in hot weather compared to a cooler morning. This is worth checking periodically through the summer rather than assuming a pressure that was correct in spring is still correct once temperatures climb, since both under and over-inflation affect handling and ride quality.

What's Worth Doing About It
There's not much you can do to prevent normal rubber aging entirely, that's just the nature of the material. But keeping up with regular suspension inspections means catching a bushing or mount that's drying out and cracking before it turns into a clunk or a handling issue, rather than being surprised by it later.
